Thank you for your interest in Developing Critical Thinkers learning accelerator, Comprendio. Comprendio is the result of four years of ongoing and in the field research with students, teachers, and professional communities. Our professional development courses in education and enterprise locally, nationally, and internationally, helped us to identify the most critical aspects of our process: the critical literacy of a content, the expert connections, and the key observations describing and justifying both literacy and connections. These 'power practices' have become the heart and driver of Comprendio, our organic learning platform that allows you to to create and store mental models of content understanding and their connections (called schemas) on any topic and/or content for later review or as a learning/instruction aide. Though we designed this platform to be extremely user friendly, we believe it is in every users best interest to watch the brief video below with students form Hawai'i. In it, we detail the basics of getting started as well as a few advanced tips from our Professional Development Workshops.
